Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Se So Hung

Good Morning!
“This [Sanskrit] mantra taps into the energies of the sun, moon, earth, and the Infinite Spirit to bring deep healing. It can be chanted to heal the self or to send healing energy to anyone you wish.” These words are from the Spirit Voyage web site. This chant, sung by Snatam Kaur, rings in my head a lot lately. It is beautiful and comforting. Deep and magically calming. When those whom we love pass, even if we believe we are well prepared for the event, there are often unforeseen and unplanned aftershocks that follow. Old memories. Unresolved and/or unhealthy family dynamics. The realization of how attached we are to our physical being. The wish that we could have….. The letting go of a loved one in the physical world, to be fully and completely loving, needs to also be accompanied by letting go of all that is unlike love. It needs to include a gentle forgiveness of the self, for any and all feelings of not having done enough. It needs to include, if possible, a gentle forgiveness of others. It helps to include an awareness that they are never really “gone”, that they have just changed form. Changed form. Like a stick of incense, when it burns, transforms from something solid to a wisp of subtle fragrance. We all experience the loss of loved ones, eventually. It is part of the plan. It is an illusion to believe otherwise. It is painful. It is heart wrenching. It is sad. And we have no control about how it will go. This is where Spirit/God/Divine Mother comes in. We can always call on Spirit, in whatever form that takes for us, to walk with us. Spirit will be there. Spirit is there, in the warm spot in our heart or the phone call from the friend or the photo we forgot we had or the song that suddenly plays or the rainbow that appears or the baby’s expression….We are not just physical beings. We are much, much more.

With Love & Gratitude,

Diana

Breathing in Gratitude

BY REV. DIANA MOORE - Jan 31 2015

Inhale-The-Best-Exhale-The-Stress

Breathing in Gratitude......Breathing out Love......Breathing in Life......Breathing out Love.....Breathing in Nourishment.....Breathing out Love......Breathing in Love.....Breathing out Love...... I invite us all to take time this day to be conscious of our breath. When we inhale, what energy do we wish to bring into our bodies, minds and spirits? When we exhale, what energy do we wish to send out into the world? Sometimes we need to exhale things that don't feel healthy, like colds, frustrations, and negative thoughts. Let's be conscious of how we send those energies out by asking the Universe/God/Divine Mother to take it and recycle it into something healthier. No matter who we are, what our spiritual or religious beliefs are or what our state of being is, our breath is part of what sustains us and is the one sure thing from moment to moment, as long as we live. Let's allow this day be a conscious day of awareness for how we show up in our world; how we receive, how we give and how we take care of ourselves.

With Love & Blessings,

Diana

The Ways We Could Share More

BY REV. DIANA MOORE - Dec, 10 2014

Good Morning!gracefulmornings

The warmth of a cup of tea…the sun shining on my feline friend’s fur…diamond sparkles in the new snow…quiet gurgles of a satisfied stomach….This is a wintry morning in the Northeast and I am grateful for the comforts that surround me.  Those of us who are privileged enough to have a peaceful morning, day or moment are fortunate, as so many do not have this.  There are far too many people on the planet who wake up to empty cupboards, a cold space, and fear of the coming day.  Some of these people are our neighbors or our family members.  Many are children and elders.  There is so much abundance here that it seems incredible that anyone would not have enough of what they need.  As I witness the masses being hypnotized by media messages of the necessity of spending even more money on what we really do not need, I think of the ways we could share more, collaborate more, barter more….more human interaction on a peaceful, loving level – not just for the holidays, but for every day.  Peace, Love and Human Interaction.

May it be so.  And so it is.

With Blessings & Gratitude,

Diana

Wake up! The sky is Orange

By Rev Diana's Nov 10, 2014

Good Morning!

My cat pounced on me this morning, clearly saying “Wake up! The sky is orange!”  It was a powerfully gorgeous sunrise that I might have missed otherwise.  Goldenorange sunrise in vermont moonrise….  Orange sunrise…. Sweet sacred dance circle…. Bubbling granddaughter love…. These are some of the abundant gifts I’ve received during the past 24 hours.  As you reflect on your recent days, what gifts were there for you?  Mother Earth offers us constant blessings.  When we stop for just a moment…listen….and look….we are almost guaranteed to see, hear or feel something beautiful.  Look up. The cloud spirits can offer a magical message, or a smile.  Look around – outside of our immediate surroundings – to the hills and mountains, or to the horizon and know that there is so much more to this world.  And below us is an unseen cosmology of mazes and details created by those we rarely notice or think about but whose world we share daily.  What a Joy it can be to be Here.

With Blessings & Gratitude,

Diana

Weekly Prayers Gracefully Offered

BY REV. DIANA MOORE - Nov 3, 2014

Good Morning!

We have crossed the threshold.  We have entered a new time.  Things are not as they appear and they are not as they used to be.  What feels like loss may be an exchange.  What feels like a simple gift may be a major transformation.  One mere thought can lead to a volcanic eruption of abundant blessings.  We are living in a time of fast changes that are both tangible and intangible.  If we are not living our “calling”, now is the time to clarify what that is. We are living into an evolution of energy shifts that affect how we think, feel and act, and allow us to go deeper into who we truly are.  We need to be gentle, loving and forgiving of ourselves, and our loved ones.  We are all here for a reason and part of that reason is to walk together, arm in arm, with loving hearts.  I feel blessed to be walking with you.

With Love & Gratitude,

Diana

Weekly Prayers Gracefully Offered

by Rev. Diana Moore - Oct 27, 2014

Good Morning!Vermont fall foliage hogback mountain web

I was greeted first thing this morning with a request from my daughter to meet at a local restaurant for breakfast; she, my grand-daughter and the wee one simmering in my daughter’s womb, which we now know to be a girl. Such a lovely blessing to begin the day – I had to say Yes! I walked to meet them, and was greeted first by the blustery 45 degree breeze and a slight drizzle, which felt quite refreshing. The sky to the East was deep with gray clouds and right above me was a patch of blue sky. The town was sleepy still. And I knew, and know, the blessings of being Home. I take a deep breath of Gratitude in acknowledgement of this tremendous gift – to know Home, to feel in my bones that this geographic location is where I belong. I also know that I belong on this planet, at this time, and that Mother Earth is my planetary Home. We are all a part of something so much greater than what we see and feel in the moment. In fact, who we are is a mirror of that something greater, which is a very cool concept. In coming back to the moment, where are you most at Home? Who are you most at Home with? How does this show up for you? As we enter the next season of our year, I invite us to welcome the parts of our life that ground us, that please us and that we feel blessed to be with.

With Love & Gratitude,

Diana

Weekly Prayers Gracefully Offered

by Rev. Diana Moore - Oct 12, 2014

Good Morning!

Fall has arrived in this part of the world, although not yet officially. The heat is on inside, not out, the air is crisp with the scent of apples and drying leaves and the color of the landscape is tinged with something other than bright green. We breathe differently. Most people I know have a favorite season and for many it is Fall. As with other times in our lives, this time of the year holds the tradition of various rituals, including shifting the summer wardrobe to the cold weather wardrobe, getting out extra blankets, making sure there is plenty of wood ready for the wood stove, canning and freezing foods, and thinking about putting those winter tires on the car. It is a nice time of the year for snuggling.apple-tree

Sometimes we look at our lives in terms of seasons. If you look at your own life, which season do you resonate most with? In what ways can you honor that? Ritual is a beautiful way to honor all of the stages we move through and can be as simple as eating a favorite food while consciously acknowledging where we are.

I invite us to take some time in the next few days to honor this seasonal shift and wherever we happen to be within it; honor ourselves with love, compassion and gratitude for being Here, in this place, and Now, in this time.

With Love & Blessings,

Rev. Diana
